About us
We are a third generation farming family that love welcoming guests to our home. The Black family are blessed to live in a special landscape area of North Fife in Scotland. Our team are passionate about nurturing the land, rearing happy animals and connecting with other local businesses to manage the farm in a sustainable way, protecting the biodiversity and ensure the long-term health and productivity of the land for future generations.
Operating on a circular farming model, Braeside of Lindores prioritises low-waste production methods. Through partnerships with local artisans and producers, we ensure that every visitor enjoys a unique and authentic experience.
Farm life is never the same day to day. The scenery, animal movements and environment all change with the Scottish seasons and weather. Whether you’re staying and chatting to farmer Richard on site or you’re planning your trip to Scotland – our friendly team will be able to answer questions about walks, horse riding facilities, the rolling fields of barley or our Highland Cows. We are dedicated and passionate about sharing our story.
