Woof woof, everypawdy! Bella the Cocker Spaniel here, with a tail-wagging update about my latest adventure. Recently, I had the absolute best time staying at Lindores in Fife, Scotland. If you’re a dog who loves exploring, good food, and cosy spots to curl up after a long walk, then I think you’ll want to hear all about it!

A Beautiful Place to Stay

Lindores is set in the most paw-geous part of Scotland—surrounded by lush green hills, tranquil forests, and those cute, winding little roads that make your paws twitch with excitement. The place is so peaceful, and I could smell the fresh air and feel the cool breeze as soon as we got there. My humans and I stayed in one of their dog friendly holiday houses, perfectly equipped for all my needs! It had a garden fully fenced and secure to keep me close by, lots of space for me to snooze in the sunshine and dog-friendly walks right on the doorstep – I knew I was going to have a good time!

Long Walks and New Smells

Now, let’s talk about the walks. Oh my paws! There were endless trails to explore, and each one was better than the last. The best part? It was so quiet—just the sound of birds, a little rustling in the trees, and my paws crunching on the paths. I kept finding new smells, and if you know me, you know how much I love a good sniff!

If you’re a water-loving dog like me, you’ll be thrilled to know there’s a beautiful beach nearby. The humans took me to the water’s edge where I had a splash and dipped my paws in. I tried to convince them to let me jump in and swim, but they just gave me the ‘not today, Bella’ look. Oh well, there’s always next time!

The People

Now, what really made Lindores stand out was the friendly vibe of the place. The people here were so nice to me. I got loads of belly rubs and attention (yes, I’m a bit of a diva, but who’s counting?). I even made a few new doggie pals on my walks. One of them was a fellow Spaniel named Daisy—she was just as energetic as I am, so you can imagine the fun we had!

The locals are all very friendly, and they didn’t mind having a well-behaved (if I do say so myself) Spaniel around. Some even said they recognised me from my blog… I guess my fame has officially spread to Scotland, woof!

Final Thoughts

Overall, my time at Lindores was absolutely pawsome. I’m already planning my next trip back! The scenery, the people, and the endless adventures made it one of the best getaways I’ve had so far. So, if you’re a pup looking for your next holiday spot (or if you’re a human planning to spoil your dog), Lindore is definitely a place you want to check out. Trust me—your tail will thank you!

Okay, I’m off to nap now (those walks tire me out!). Hope you enjoyed reading about my Scottish adventure. Catch you next time with more paw-some tales!

Tail wags and slobbery kisses,
Bella the Cocker Spaniel
