We have dogs and love them! So we are champions of pet friendly holidays. Bring your dog when you visit us here at Lindores!
You are welcome to bring up to 2 dogs to stay with you. As there is an enclosed garden at the holiday homes, we are happy for you to let your four legged friends off their leads.
Dog friendly activities
There are plenty walks here at Lindores and only a short drive away. We recommend the Fife Coastal Path, which is 144miles around the coast of Fife. The Fife Coastal Path starts in our local village. Or you could visit nearby forests such as Tentsmuir and Blairadam because they have beautiful scenery and tracks!
Again, only a short drive away from Lindores, there are a number of dog friendly activities you and your dog can do. For example, you could visit Kellie Castle and its gardens or how about a visit to the dog friendly Craigtoun Country Park for plenty of open space for your dog to enjoy a game of fetch. Craigtoun Country Park is also great for families because it has something for everyone.
Fife has many stunning historic buildings that allow visitors to take their dogs with them too. Such as Lindores Abbey Distillery which is only a 5 minute drive away.
Dog friendly places to eat
There are plenty of quirky cafes around Fife that are dog friendly, such as Loch Levens Larder. Or perhaps you could visit the Cocoa Tree Café in Pittenweem for one of their luxurious hot chocolates!
We would also recommend visiting the award winning ‘The Cheesy Toast Shack’ on Kingsbarns beachside. With the Fife coastal path and one of the best dog friendly beaches –Kingsbarns, either side of the shack.
For a dog friendly pub, we would recommend The Stag Inn in Falkland. With Falkland’s stunning scenery and old buildings, this is the perfect place to take your dog for a walk and then sit down for a meal in a cosy pub.
Where to stay?
If you are interested in bringing your dogs with you, then The Glasshouse or Lindores Lodge are the pet friendly properties! We only ask that when walking on the farm tracks that you keep your pooch on a lead. Since Lindores is a working farm, so you would be seeing our sheep and some cattle in their fields.
