After the success of The Open Golf 2022 experiences here at The Hide in Summer 2022, we have decided to collaborate again with professional chef Neil Clark and Lindores Abbey Distillery to offer another exclusive experience, The Hide Autumn Gold Package.
Our bespoke BBQ hut, The Hide offers a completely authentic Scottish eating and drinking experience. Designed for you to enjoy with your clients, sponsors, friends or family privately. This unique lunch time experience is designed for 4 – 8 people.
The Hide Autumn Gold package includes a 5-course tasting menu crafted by local professional chef Neil Clarke using seasonal produce from Fife and surrounding areas. Your private sommelier from Lindores Abbey Distillery has hand selected wines to pair with each course with an option to bolt on award winning whisky tasting.
This experience includes 4×4 Land Rover off road transport from our farm, exclusivity of the venue with options to dine inside or outside while taking in the stunning countryside views and making memories you will never forget.

Anna Black is eager to help and passionate about providing you with an unforgettable experience. From booking to arriving, Anna and the team strive to help you create special memories here at Lindores.
Chef Neil Clarke has a passion for fine Scottish food, in particular seafood and game. He was previously head chef at the Seafood Restaurant, St Andrews and sous chef on the Royal Scotsman Train.
Lindores Abbey Distillery have the earliest written reference to Scotch Whisky and using the knowledge from the great Scottish distillers around, past and present, they have brought a very modern whisky-making approach to their ancient site. Not only do the sommeliers have an incredible wealth of knowledge to share on whisky, but also the wine which has been hand-selected for your dining experience.

The accompanying wine menu has been paired with each course by your sommelier from award winning Lindores Abbey Distillery.
As the officially recognised site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch Whisky in 1494. Lindores Abbey Distillery is again taking its place in history with its Single Malt Scotch Whisky MCDXCIV 1494
For whisky enthusiasts after dinner we can offer you a bespoke Lindores Abbey Distillery whisky tasting experience with an optional 3 drams.

Location:
The Hide is an off grid venue located at Braeside of Lindores, Newburgh, Fife, KY14 6HU. There is ample space for helicopters landing or 4×4 transport to the venue. The location is an award winning diversified farm owned by The Black family for 3 generations.
The farm is a special landscape area, steeped in Scottish history. William Wallace fought the Battle of Blackearnside and defeated the English just a stone throw away. There is a bespoke off grid waterless toilet at the venue, hand crafted with one way glass allowing guests to enjoy the view from the loo.
Transport
Guests can travel by road or helicopter to Lindores.
If travelling by road, guests are invited to park at the family farm on arrival. From there, your personal 4×4 Landrover (5 seater) will chauffeur you and your guests off road up Lindores Hill to The Hide.
Once you have enjoyed your experience at The Hide, we will chauffeur you down to your vehicles, or you are very welcome to take a leisurely stroll back down.
